You can help your kid keep their basketball shoes clean with ease. The more they play and learn, the better – but that means regularly maintaining their shoes. You’ll need:
First, take out the insoles and laces from your kid’s basketball shoes. You can clean each of these individually. After putting them aside, tap the shoes on the ground to remove any remaining dirt, and then dust them with a cloth or dry brush.
Mix the mild soap or detergent with the warm water. You can add a small amount of baking soda once it starts to foam, as this could improve the efficiency of your solution.
Start cleaning the shoes by dipping the brush into the solution. Use circular motions all along the outside of the shoe, being firm but gentle. After finishing, you can wipe away any excess solution with a damp cloth. Keep your kid’s basketball shoes out of direct sunlight and let them air dry naturally. You can re-lace them and insert the insoles only after they have completely dried.
