Thanks to the bright colours, the focus won't just be on your performance.
Let nothing stand between you and your game.
At PUMA, we design and manufacture football boots with a focus on crafting innovative end products that combine comfort, durability, and performance. Made with lightweight materials that provide exceptional speed and control, they enhance overall agility on the field. Regardless of the surface, our stud and grip configurations provide exceptional traction and stability for players of all skill levels.
To account for all-day comfort, we incorporate advanced cushioning technologies, which help reduce the physical impact of moment-to-moment plays. Our stylish designs cater to footballers who value aesthetics without compromising on functionality.
With options tailored for different foot shapes and playing styles, PUMA delivers versatility for AFL and football enthusiasts and professional players.
We have a large selection of football boots, including many options for kids and preschoolers. The range comes in an array of designs, colours, and sizes. This also includes studded and gripped options for different playing surfaces.
To view only kids’ football boots, click on the ‘Age Group’ filter and select ‘Youth’.
When you're deciding on the right footy boots for you, there are some pointers worth keeping in mind.
First, consider the types of surfaces you'll be playing on. Do you intend to play on firm ground, soft ground, or artificial ground? Boots with moulded or rubber studs are often a good fit for firm ground (dry, natural grassy surfaces). The grip offered by metal studs can be a good fit for muddier, softer grounds. Shorter studded football boots can be well-suited to artificial surfaces like synthetic turf. Of course, there are plenty of boot options that can adapt to different surfaces or offer varying stud options that can be adjusted as needed.
For your own comfort, you also want to ensure your boots fit well. Consider the boot's width, ensure there is good cushioning, and aim for a snug fit that isn't too tight to avoid blisters and excessive foot movement inside of the boot.
Also consider the weight of the boot, how much toe protection it offers, and the degree of ankle support it offers. The right boots will very much depend on your specific needs and what you’re comfortable with, so take your time in landing on your preferred boots.
When it comes to our football boot range, there are three key silos (categories) we sell that cater to different functional needs. These are:
PUMA Future - these are designed for agility, featuring our adaptive fit technology.
PUMA Ultra - built for speed, utilising lightweight materials
PUMA King - our heritage boot, focused on comfort and responsiveness, and often using premium leather.
Yes, they are. We sell a diverse selection of boots that suit feet of different sizes, shapes, and widths. If you have wide feet, our PUMA Future football boots are designed to fit all manner of feet for men, women, and children – particularly those with regular to wide feet.
Keep an eye out for the Future models as you browse our selection.
You view and purchase PUMA football boots right here on our website. Use the filters at the top of the page to narrow your search and see what’s available.
If you prefer to try our football boots on in person to get a true feel for them, we have several stores in most major cities across the country.
When it comes to choosing the right size AFL or football boots, all you really need to know is what your regular shoe size is. PUMA football boots are sized in line with conventional standards. This is typically the best option for casual players. You can see the specific measurements for our footwear via our Size Charts.
For those who play, live and breathe AFL, some may prefer to try a slightly smaller fit than their general shoe size for football boots. A boot that is a half or full size smaller can be beneficial for having better feedback and control over movement and the ball itself when kicked.
If you have wide feet, as covered above, be sure to take a look at our range of PUMA Future football boots.
While football boots are designed for action, there are plenty of little things you can do to get the longest life out of them. First, we’d suggest purchasing the appropriate shoe cleaners and repellents from our Shoe Care range.
Generally, after each game or practice session, you should take a moment to give the boots a small clean by removing the dirt and grit that’s accumulated on the soles and sides of the shoes. You can do this by gently knocking your boots together so the dirt falls off or using a shoe brush.
When it comes down for a deeper clean, we strongly recommend hand-washing boots. Aim to only wet the outside of the boots and use a brush with some gentle soap or mild detergent to clear off any deep-seated dirt or grit. Once you’ve cleaned them, rinse the outside of the boots and then let them air dry. Do not submerge your boots in the water.
If you happen to experience any odours coming from the inside of your football boots, products such as sneaker balls or an appropriate deodorising spray can be used to remove the odours.
