This women’s jersey design extends the men’s version, maintaining a cohesive identity, while establishing its unique presence in the retail space. By blending historical elements and emphasizing the team’s identity, this design captures the essence of the women’s team journey. The jersey features white shoulders, drawing inspiration from the history of Women’s State of Origin and the Interstate Challenge, creating a visual link between the present and significant moments in women’s rugby league. It incorporates white and grey stripes on the sleeves, acknowledging the collective history and impact of the legendary Maroons teams on today’s players. Embossed on the cuffs, the team name “Maroons” proudly reinforces a sense of pride, unity, and distinct identity within the broader rugby league community, officially adopted by the women’s team in 2019.
